School Photographs

22^nd October 2026

Dear Parent/Carer

RE: School Photographs – 3^rd November

As part of Ysgol Bryn Elian’s 50^th birthday, we will be having a whole school, panoramic photo that is released as part of the celebration.

Kittle Photography will be in school on Tuesday 3^rd November taking photographs of learners in year 8, 9, 10 and 12 only.

Years 7, 11 and 13 have already had these photographs taken back in September. However, if your child was absent on the original date, there will be opportunity for them to have their photo taken on the 3^rd November.

Once the photographs have been taken, there will be a Kittle Photography photo ticket available to all learners and parents for the photograph to be purchased. The images will be ready to view within 5 working days for you to view and place an order.

Learners who have PE on this day will need to come to school in their uniform. They can then change into their PE kit once they have had their photos taken. Please be reminded of the high standards that are expected regarding school uniform and learners’ appearance.

Every learner must wear the basic uniform for their photo. This consists of:

• Year 7-11: Blue Shirt, YBE tie, school jumper, plain navy jumper or cardigan, black skirt or trousers, black shoes or trainers.
• Sixth Form: White Shirt, YBE tie, plain black jumper or cardigan, black skirt or trousers, black shoes or trainers.

Please note, learners in the incorrect uniform will have to borrow the school uniform that we have here.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Mr J. Chaplin
