Ysgol Bryn Elian is once again celebrating a successful set of A and AS results which are a testament to the hard work put in by the learners of Year 12 and 13 in a wide curriculum choice. A* and A grades were in achieved by many, due to their hard work and diligence.
We are very proud of the hard work that our learners have put into their studies and are delighted with their achievements; we wish them the very best for their future at university or the world of work.

Year 13
Jacob Cope achieved A* A* A* A and a Distinction. He is going to study Computer Science and Maths at Manchester University.
Ianto Evans achieved A* A* A* A grades. He is going to study Physics at Lancaster University.
Liam McGuinness achieved A* A A B. He is going to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at University College London.
Kobi-Lee Warburton-Evans achieved A* A A. He is going to Cambridge University to study Veterinary Medicine.
Marc Pearson achieved A* A A A grades. He is going to study Law at London School of Economics.
Owen Morgan achieved A* A* A* A. Owen is taking a year out whilst he considers his options for the future.
Elliot Dutton achieved A A, Distinction* and a Distinction. He is going to study Digital Media Production at Sheffield Hallam University.
Kyle Wilkinson achieved A* A B B. He is going to Bangor University to study Biomedical Science.
Ffion Boardman achieved A* A B C. She is going to Staffordshire University to study Games Design.
Louise Cameron achieved A A B C. She is going to Manchester University to study English Literature and American Studies.
Megan Hughes achieved A A C and a Distinction. She is going to Nottingham Trent University to study Sports Science and Maths.
Jared Jones achieved A* B B and Distinction*. He is going to Birmingham to study Computer Science.
Year 12
The following learners deserve recognition for making a superb start to their AS Level studies: Gianluca Ambrosio, Joseph Elliott, Heva Fahy, Isabelle Pardon, Grace Talbot-Jamieson and Seren Warwick.
The Headteacher, Mrs Lindsey Hastings said, “We are extremely proud of all the young people who have worked so hard and tirelessly to achieve such exceptional results. There is such diversity in learners’ next-steps, highlighting just how much Ysgol Bryn Elian nurtures and guides its learners to their goals; Achievement for All at its best.
Bryn Elian’s success comes from offering our students a varied and appropriate curriculum, enhanced by our support systems in school. Thanks go to all the staff for all their hard work and excellent teaching of these learners. The success of these students is because of the exceptional partnership we also have with parents and together the support provided at both home and school has enabled our learners to shine.”
