Pupils from Ysgol Bryn Elian were invited to perform at St Katharine’s and St John’s Church as part of their summer season of musical concerts.
Thirty pupils performed a wide range of music which included medieval music, classical music and rock and pop music. The audience sang along to ‘Sweet Caroline’ played by James Guise and ‘I Want it That Way’ performed by George Horsley, Rohan Chappell and Charlie Taylor. Fin Titchiner, Jude Rawlinson, Devon Jones, Hugo Nosworthy and George Faux performed ‘Sally Cinnamon’ cheered on by their own Year 9 ‘fan club’. The concert finished with an amazing performance of ‘Fur Elise’ by Daniel Bowler and the appearance of the all the performers on stage at the end of the concert lead to a huge round of applause and cheers from the audience.
