During the last two years, the school has been successful in sourcing funding to enable us to upgrade many of our facilities. These include our astro-turf, drama theatre, computer infrastructure and science laboratories.
We’re now delighted to be able to announce that we’ve secured further funding to be able to construct a new floodlit multi use games area adjacent to our recently refurbished 3G sports pitch, which will add to our already impressive range of sporting facilities at the school.
This new facility will be fenced off, floodlit will have a sand-based astro-turf surface. It will be marked out for tennis, netball and five-a-side and be available for hire by the local community in the evenings.
Construction will start at the beginning of March and our learners should be able to start using this fantastic new facility some-time in April.
The school would like to thank Mr Brian Crossland, School Business Leader for his work in securing the funding and overseeing the planning and building phase of the project.
