Ysgol Bryn Elian is once again celebrating a successful set of A and AS results which are a testament to the hard work put in by the learners of Year 12 and 13 in a wide curriculum choice.
We are very proud of the hard work that our learners have put into their studies and are delighted with their achievements; we wish them the very best for their future at university or the world of work.
We would like to thank our dedicated staff for guiding our learners through their studies and preparing them for their exams. Staff at Ysgol Bryn Elian always go the extra mile to ensure learners are able to thrive; this set of results further highlights their dedication.

Year 13
Ben Ansell achieving 3 A* and one A grade and is going to study Product Design at Loughborough University.
Carys Boardman achieving 2 A*, one A and one B grade and is going to study Physics at Lancaster University.
Thomas Dentith achieving 4 A grades and is going to study Musical Theatre at Leeds Conservatoire.
Maxie Guest achieving A, Distinction and two B grades and is going to study Sustainability and Environmental Development at Leeds university.
Jack Higham achieving two A grades, B and C and is going to study Accounting and Finance at Durham University.
James Morley achieving A*, A and B and is going to study Paramedic Science at Swansea University.
Jake Platt achieving 3 A* and one B grade and is going to study Chemistry at York University.
Kristen Woods achieving 3 A* and one A grade and is going to study Banking and Finance at Bangor University.
Year 12
The following learners achieved straight A grades: Jacob Cope, Ianto Evans, Jared Jones, Liam McGuinness, Riley Min, Owen Morgan, Marc Pearson, Kobi-Lee Warbuton-Evans; a superb platform for Year 13 study.
The Headteacher, Mr Dave Humphreys, said, “Yet again the school has achieved results of a very pleasing standard. We are very proud of all the young people who have worked so hard and tirelessly.
Bryn Elian’s success comes from offering our students a varied and appropriate curriculum, enhanced by our support systems in school. Thanks go to all the staff for all their hard work and excellent teaching of these learners. The success of these students is because of the exceptional partnership we also have with parents and together the support provided at both home and school has enabled our learners to shine.”
