Studying Physical Education

This highly successful and productive department is dedicated to facilitating and encouraging all aspects of physical education. From competitive contact sports to personal fitness, our team provides countless opportunities for individual achievement. As the only secondary school PE department to have won the Conwy Sports Award on two occasions we are proud of the many successes achieved by our pupils, including the Conwy and Eryri Under 18 football cups.

Extra Curricular Sports Clubs

Ysgol Bryn Elian prides itself on offering a wide selection of extra curricular sporting and recreational opportunities for pupils.

The school has encompassed the Conwy School Sports programme to encourage pupils to participate in regular physical activities. Ysgol Bryn Elian has its very own CSS Officer who's role is to consult with pupils, listen to their needs in providing exciting recreational opportunities for pupils outside the curriculum.

Qualified coaches and instructors are employed to offer free coaching during lunchtime and after school. Our after school activities finish at 3.45 - 4pm
